BrowserID is also known as Mozilla Persona. It is a Single Sign On protocol similar to OpenID, but based on user email address rather than a <abbr title="Uniform Resource Locator">URL</abbr>. <a href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Persona/FAQ?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Persona%2FFAQ#How_does_Persona_compare_to_OpenID.3F" class="urlextern" title="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Persona/FAQ?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Persona%2FFAQ#How_does_Persona_compare_to_OpenID.3F" rel="nofollow">Of course, there are other differences</a>.

In Manager, go in <code>General Parameters</code> > <code>Authentication modules</code> and choose BrowserID for authentication.
|

<p><div class="notetip">You can then choose any other module for users and password but if you want to totally delegate authentication to BrowserID, choose <a href="../../documentation/2.0/authnull.html" class="wikilink1" title="documentation:2.0:authnull">None</a> for users and password.

Then, go in <code>BrowserID parameters</code>:
